If you love cooking but hate turning on the oven when it’s blisteringly hot outside, this large-capacity wonder oven might do the trick. Chefman’s multifunctional digital air fryer+ has a touch screen with a whopping 17 preset options including the ability to bake, dehydrate and roast — without needing to preheat first or warming up your whole kitchen.
In a review titled “Best Cooking Product I’ve Purchased” one happy user said, “This is the best small [oven], airfryer, dehydrator I’ve ever had. It’s compact, QUICK, powerful, clean, and energy efficient especially since I live in the desert and I don’t like using my oven in the summer — this is PERFECT.” That type of functionality with a countertop appliance is unbeatable, and right now, the price is too, thanks to a steep 40% off discount that drops it to under $90!
With its 10-liter capacity, three rack positions and a drip tray large enough to hold a whole chicken (though, your mileage may vary), this air fryer could be your new kitchen workhorse. It can bake, roast and dehydrate, plus it has several one-touch buttons that automatically cook foods based on what they are, from fish to meats to veggies. The machine has dishwasher-safe components for easy cleaning and cooks between 95- to 400-degrees Fahrenheit.
Reviewers seem to really love it for various reason.
They’re praising it for being quiet, easy to clean and fast as it doesn’t need to preheat before cooking.
“This is the most quiet kitchen appliance I have ever purchased, it makes less noise than my microwave,” says one reviewer.
“No preheating, no heating the entire apartment, just perfect crisp.”
“This thing is amazing. Love it! Works great, bakes great, fries great. Practically stopped using my oven so I don’t have to heat up the house in the summer. Kids and I have baked countless loaves of zucchini bread to perfection. Works pretty well for toast too. Some people complained about no “off” switch. It turns itself off. When your food is done it turns off automatically, but the display panel is still lit for awhile. Or you can hit stop/cancel at any point so it stops heating. After a bit the display will go completely dark and only the “start” button is visible to be able to turn it back on again. Not sure what these people want with an “off” button. It’s off.” — Christina M
“Best buy ever in 2021. We have used this Chefman for over 3.5 years now to air fry and bake, especially when a larger oven was not needed. It is perfect during the summers when you don’t want to heat the whole house to cook a few pieces of chicken, etc. There has never been a day where this was used less than 4 times to air fry, bake and reheat food which makes the consistency closer to fresh than using a microwave. The rotating fryer basket makes fries even, and you can turn on a light to see your food cook. We bought this then for a little over $100, and it has withstood our ‘bigger’ brands. Recently this was our only cooking source during a 2-month remodel. A real-life saver. While it might not feel sturdy with the plastic casing, it has been easy to clean and still looks new. It’s definitely what’s on the inside that counts more, and we found reliability.” — laurhead
“I purchased this air fryer in November of 2021 after our oven broke. We relyed on this for cooking all our meals, and even baking cookies, for about 1 year. It does a fantastic job and we didn’t even miss our oven. Now the oven is repaired but we still use this air fryer daily for cooking various things. I had read some reviews that said it heats up the counter underneath and it ruined some people’s counter tops. We have Formica counters and never had any issues with it being too hot. I did however purchase an inexpensive wooden cutting board for it to sit on which protects the counters and make it easier to side the air fryer out for use. The only negative I can think of is that the alarm for when finished cooking is very loud but that hasn’t been to big of sn issue.” — Valerie Horjus
“Couldn’t live without it !!! So easy to clean , no longer need the ball and chain oven around the home , the rotisserie feature is a plus for Cornish hens and other red meats.” — Jro
“Didn’t think that I would like using one., but it is a blessing. Don’t like using the oven to much work. This is so easy to clean and use. The best for reheating fried chicken, fish and french fries oh great” — Maggie Kelly
